Matter Cluster 1029 — Relative Humidity Measurement Cluster

Matter Cluster 1029, also written as 0x0405, is the Relative Humidity Measurement Cluster. This is a base cluster. The server cluster provides an interface to water content measurement functionality. The measurement is reportable and may be configured for reporting.

Shadow Path Format

Cluster 1029 values in the device shadow use this format:

endpoint_id / 1029 / attribute_id

Example:

{
  "1/1029/0": 1
}

Cluster 1029 Attributes

Cluster 1029 defines 4 attributes plus the global attributes. Conformance: M mandatory, O optional, a feature code means "mandatory when that feature is present", square brackets mean "optional when …".

Attribute Details

Attribute 0 / 0x0000 — MeasuredValue

Path example:

1/1029/0

MeasuredValue represents the water content in % as follows: MeasuredValue = 100 x water content Where 0% < = water content < = 100%, corresponding to a MeasuredValue in the range 0 to 10000. The maximum resolution this format allows is 0.01%. MinMeasuredValue and MaxMeasuredValue define the range of the sensor. The null value indicates that the measurement is unknown, otherwise the range is as described in Measured Value.

Attribute 1 / 0x0001 — MinMeasuredValue

Path example:

1/1029/1

The MinMeasuredValue attribute indicates the minimum value of MeasuredValue that can be measured. The null value means this attribute is not defined. See Measured Value for more details.

Attribute 2 / 0x0002 — MaxMeasuredValue

Path example:

The MaxMeasuredValue attribute indicates the maximum value of MeasuredValue that can be measured. The null value means this attribute is not defined. See Measured Value for more details.

Cluster 1029 Commands

Cluster 1029 defines no commands. It is read (and, for writable attributes, written) through attribute access only.

Cluster 1029 Events

Cluster 1029 defines no events.

SmartphoneKey Notes

  • Humidity is reported in hundredths of a percent: 4520 = 45.20 % RH.
  • Shadow paths follow endpoint/1029/attribute; attribute values that the device reports as unreadable are written as n/a.
  • Attribute IDs, command IDs and enum values on this page come from the CSA Matter 1.6.1 data model; descriptions are condensed from the specification text.
